NYCU Theory Day 2026 is a two-day satellite event held prior to the 43rd Workshop on Combinatorial Mathematics and Computation Theory (CMCT), a long-standing domestic workshop in Taiwan, which is hosted this year at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Hsinchu (Chiao-Tung) Campus. The NYCU Hsinchu Chiao-Tung Campus is located adjacent to Taiwan’s major science park and semiconductor industry hub, placing NYCU in a uniquely vibrant research environment where foundational theory and cutting-edge technology closely interact and reinforce one another.
The primary goal of NYCU Theory Day is to provide a forum for international and domestic researchers in theoretical computer science to meet and exchange ideas, to expose NYCU students to frontier research in theory, and to encourage them to pursue advanced study in the field. This event marks the inaugural edition of NYCU Theory Day.
